Mammography, screening for Breast Cancer
One of the things that we visualize in the mammography is calcification and the fibrosis, which occurs in that we see that white shadows appear in the X ray in the breast tissue. And that can be a cause of concern. And one should see the breast surgeon for the same. That being said, when should one get a mammography done? Every woman about 40 years of age should get an annual mammography done is the recommended guidance according to various societies which deal with breast cancer and so on
