Hello, everyone. So today we're gonna talk about one of the most famous TV shows called CID of India. So first of all, can I just say honestly, I love CID. I like the fact that it wasn't like those basic shows where it's just like some love story or some serial like that. It was more about like crime. I know there's a lot of memes on CID as well, but I really enjoyed it overall

Yes. And this is an iconic show, very popular. Everyone must know about it. But in case you don't know, this show used to air on Sony TV from 1998. Yeah, it's very, very old from 1998 to 2018. It ran for like, 20 years. It's that much loved by these viewers and all that's the reason, obviously, why it ran for 20 years. And yeah, it's because the show is that good

Yeah. And CID was also the cause of a lot of other crime shows in India, like Southampton, India, Crime Patrol, which are more like based on real real life events and real life stories, whereas CID is more fictional. But at the same time, regardless, CID was the cause of a lot of other crime based shows and just the hype of crime shows in general. In India

And another interesting fact about this show is that it even entered the Guinness Book of World Records. Yes, it actually entered both Guinness Book of World Records and Olympic Book of Records records for Uncut shooting for 111 minutes. As one short for continuous 111 minutes. It was for the episode named The Inheritance, which was released during October 2004. And according to me, I think everyone agrees to this. The credit most of the credit for the show success should go to its cast
