Where to look before we leap of Faith? Kierkegaard And The Jump Within

It's very hard to mature from this, but people do it all the time. When you get out of this phase, you go into ethical stage. The ethical stage considers how actions affect others. You obey the rules, but the obedience doesn't necessarily always come from self. Sometimes that obedience comes from society, and what you're afraid could happen. I'm there. I'm trying to get to the religious stage where religion is personal and must require complete surrender despite understanding

Man, just listen to that for the second time. You are pretty good at this, man. It's really real thought provoking to look within. Let me add to that, just from my perspective. Something. Something hit. And this is why I listened to it two times. Something hit. When you say, when you religiously go to the gym

During the pandemic, I started to make a shift where I realized so much of what we do in property management, it is communication, it is engagement, it's building and maintaining relationships. And for myself, I remember wanting to get more into coaching and kind of understanding that. Now, doing coaching and going through that practice, I realized quickly the things that I really enjoyed, the ways I would like to engage with people. But more importantly, what I thought could benefit the relationship the best

Because hiking would still just be the tool for you to practice what you really love doing. And from the sounds of it to me, and that you're a natural communicator and you're good at what you do, but it sounds like you, you love the life coaching, which is giving people directions so they could land in the right position

But my problem always, for years and years and years that I've talked to the spirit about, I guess I've whined like a baby to the spirit about was that I was and have been taking leaps of faith and getting smacked about like, you know, when you maybe go into the ocean, I don't know if you swam in the ocean when the currents are kind of going crazy and when you have, you can get tossed about in there like you're in a washing machine and come up pretty roughed up and not sure where you're at

I was going to figure out how to be straight, and then, you know, I was in that for a long time. So, yeah, it's just really, really complex, and it's been really hard to let myself go and let go of those conventions of culture, organized religion, what I thought I believed about God because I thought I knew and live life, live out my sexuality, live out a new sense of spirituality, let myself fail

You know, like, you being able to teach your students to operate from this authentic place, to be very honest with them, to encourage them to be honest, for them to take the chance with their own writing, like, what's actually of them, it's from their head, as opposed to just trying to get the best writing, the most efficient writing from AI. I think that speaks volumes. Right? Like, you decided that was more important than holding yourself up

Wow. Thank you for this post. I did listen to it about a week ago and I've been brought back to it again definitely at a point in my career where I had been forced to what one would say take a leap of faith. Two words stuck out to me. One was crazy which is how I definitely been feeling lately. And the second word is gem. Beautiful word. Beautiful word

But I do really appreciate that piece about be in the gym, be in the gym. The geo. I love that. It gave me. It gave me some fresh perspective. Especially, too, because when we talk about. When we talk about, like, alignment, surrender, doing things that, you know, move us. Not trying too hard, right? Just doing the things that flew, that flow through us, like that piece really, that hit home
