AMA with Dear White Women!

Gen Z, first of all, has a stereotype of being so intentional about companies. They work for prioritizing passions and ensuring that they have meaning in their work. And these are incredible strengths. Especially if you're doing it to stand up for more equitable workplaces. It's so much about deconstructing this idea of one perfect way to be. And allowing all people to be seen and honored for who they are

Advice for Gen Z and How to Advocate for Myself in the Workplace? #memoirs #podcasts #npr #equity #engineering

Hi. Thank you so much for sharing. I feel like I learned a lot of information in just five minutes, and that's great. Some advice that I have for Gen Z. As a Gen Z person myself, I would say, like one of the best ways that I have actually learned about other people of color and the experiences that they've gone through in America and other places has been through reading. And I really enjoy reading memoirs, especially by people that make it sound like a story

Cancel culture

And the cancel culture is not just on the extreme high areas of publicity for well known people messing up, but it has to do with micro communities where it's also happening. And I think it's a result of lack of courage to deal with complexity. So what are your thoughts on the cancel culture? Thank you so much

Thank you all for sharing!

That's extremely unfortunate and so unfair, and I'm young, I'm a freshman in College, so unfortunately don't have any advice for that, but I really hope that you're able to gain some equity there

#cancelculture

I was about to derail myself, but it's that idea of like, wouldn't we be a healthier society if we focused on reinfusing the humanity and reconnecting with people as opposed to making everybody disappear that we don't like because then we just wanted up with one sort of world yet again. I really think we want to lean into deconstructing perfectionism, and I think that that is the key or the entryway into this idea of really working to dismantle cancel culture

@kenzie

Kenzie, so good to hear from you. And definitely very sorry to hear that, you know, about what you're going through. It sounds difficult. You know, I also consulted with me, Sasha, who's been in corporate more recently than I have in law. And one of the things she was saying was it's really awesome that you actually have facts like you do
