Nobody called me, so just a little unnerving. Definitely trying to pray. Things happen so quickly. And I don't think we realize how. How connected we are and how big the earth is, but yet how small. I mean, it'll take me at least an hour and a half to drive to New Jersey, but yet something that happened in New Jersey. Moved a building sitting here in Connecticut. It's just crazy, y'all. But it is a sign of the times

There's going to be wars everywhere. You know, the atmosphere is pulling itself apart. There's going to be earthquakes and tornadoes and fires and everything going on everywhere. And the point of the matter of reality is, you know, you can run out to your car or whatever in an emergency, but eventually there's a point where there's really nowhere to run, where the only thing you can do is duck under your desk and hope no one notices you, you know?

I'm not trying to get caught up in any kind of traumatic, horrific thing. Like, I'm going to exit and I'll figure it out later. So kudos to you. And like you said, it's. It's nature's sign. Something is stirring, right? Something is stirring, and we just gotta remain steadfast. Things play out. Now, I do recall that quake from 2010 because my son's father and I, we actually were on vacation

In fact, I would, I think I would tend to if I were the supervisor of the other groups or of myself. I really think that the activities of 2010 and what you did compared to the other departments should have created a need for a meeting to where they were better informed of what their actions should have been. That's me. Like I said, I'm kind of a proactive person, too, but that's kind of your place and you did it right

And even with, like, the conflict going on in Gaza, you know, I see a lot of images that are disturbing, right. But I see a lot of people loving and taking care of other people, which we didn't have to. But I still so admire that. Even the other day, I just about witnessed an accident. I was like three cars behind, but one of the cars was a, like a plumber's van

And so now that I know what I know, I would highly recommend that for many different organizations to go beyond just having the emergency preparedness plan actually do a drill that calls in the community support so that when things actually happen, you guys understand all of the nuances that are involved with coming together to support the community in that manner

And you feel so unprepared because you don't know when they're coming. It's not like a, a tornado or a storm where you get warnings earthquake coming. You know, it's like you're just sitting there minding your business, and then boom, it just hits. So you're never prepared for it, but I'm glad you got through it. That's an unusual part of the country to have earthquakes, but I'm glad you guys got through it

Hey, sis. Thank you so much for your well wishes, and thank you for sharing your story. That first earthquake would have scared me, too, because four in the morning, like, thus far, the two that I've experienced have been during the day and during the work day. So I wasn't. It wasn't at night. I wasn't half asleep, and I wasn't alone, because that's the first thing you said. You need some reassurance that NHSU
