What Spice Blend Are You?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
So what if I created a workshop where we could all tap into our layered identities and through that journey create a spice blend that tells our story? Can you tell us the marriage between our eyes and our noses in this moment? You mean visually? What? There's two tensions that are so stipulated. How do you narrow this together in your narrative? What I like to do is, because I'm a visual artist and a culinary person, that's exactly what all the practice is, right?

The first step is and tell your story through spices to answer some questions I have here, like what is your ethnic heritage or nationality? Reflect on places that you've lived throughout your life. Consider the people you've dated or loved, that they impact you when it comes to flavors. Think about the places you've traveled to. So you're going to think about these things, answer these questions. Think about some flavors and spices that you connect to these. Then you turn the page around

And I definitely am blown away by the mixture of spices that I like, and I'm just realizing how much I don't use them. So I'm really kind of expired. It's very cool. All right, let me go do this

Well, the music is getting louder and I just made my little spice mix, so I'm going to move on. But I want to leave her website here for you, Savagemus.com, and you can buy a bunch of spice blends. And I've made a really weird blend of spices. I'm smelling it. It does smell like my life, which is the point, I think. Anyway, it's been really fun to do this, but I was able to share with you
