Hurricane Ian

It is Monday, October 3, 2022, and I live in New Jersey, and it's been raining the past few days, today included, and it's going to be raining up until Wednesday or Thursday this week. It's really cold and windy as well. And this is the residual from the hurricane, hurricane Ian that's devastated Florida and I believe other parts of the country as well. And something I've noticed that everybody I've talked to today has really been complaining about the weather

And as we talked through that and we talked through the relief of not having to go through anything, he mentioned that he was very disappointed in two groups of people. He said the weather casters were one. And he mentioned that the only thing he really had to go on was since his town was evacuated, the only thing he really had to go on was newscasts and live webcams, and a lot of the webcams went out. So all he had was these newscasters

And then internally to use that moment to be grateful for the resources that you have because we might be in a space or a state or an area where we might not have that touch with Mother Nature. But there are other incidents with Mother Nature that can greatly impact our livelihood and our health and our physical person. So it's really important that we share those thoughts of gratitude and love and well wishes to people who have been impacted
