Twitter vs Apple: Can Elon win this battle?

article image placeholderElon Musk claims Apple has threatened to remove the Twitter app
And I'm curious if you're seeing the same, where you think this is actually going. Is this all a ruse to just get more people on the Twitter platform? By Elon Musk it's an interesting game to be playing here. It's a dangerous game to be and still I'm going back to that Twain coat. Never argue with a man who buys ink by the barrel. Apple is the modern day buyer of ink by the barrel

You literally can become a millionaire overnight if your app appears in the App Store. Now, if they were to remove Twitter, I think this would put a lot of pressure on the other platforms like the YouTubes and the Facebooks and the Instagrams. Whereas I'm seeing on Instagram it's a lot more like women are wearing G strings now. Sometimes we're talking like full on twerking booty clapping videos. I'm seeing more of it all my time

And as we've seen in other markets, in other industries, a desperate competitor is the most dangerous because they will do anything to destroy the entire market value. And so I think both sides have to really be careful here. But absolutely great points. Great points that I failed to mention. And thanks for adding to the conversation here. Great points

I mean, you got news networks, television networks going to Twitter to look for information these days. It's a whole different ballgame now. So, yeah, it is an integral part to the app experience. And I heard of Mastodon and they have these other supplement things, but no one's going there

#android #huawei

He knows how to build satellites, rockets that can land back to Earth. I mean, in terms of software, maybe there's a disadvantage because iOS software is really good, but I consider it will be a challenging idea for Elon to create a new phone. Another disadvantage that maybe he could face. If he proceeds with the idea of making a phone, it will be the level of acceptance in regular buyers. That's what happened to Huawei

But if he's making complaints about the media this and media that, because it would seem to fit with the dog whistles he's blowing and so on, then he really can't point fingers because he's doing this himself. He's being manipulative. He's twisting things up, and he's doing it in order to get what he wants. He did it when he was trying to buy Twitter

I mean, you have these rich men and women playing, acting like God like complexes, right? Don't pick a fight where there's no fight. Right? But, yeah, I'm over him. I guess for the sake of conversation, you have to talk about him, because he's something to talk about

But the message is there. He has access now to information. Powerful men and women and corporations know it. Hopefully we can use Twitter in iPhones. I don't want to change my phone. Have a good night, everybody

I don't believe most anything that comes out of his mouth for a variety of reasons, but I will just leave it there. And the reason I don't believe it is because if you really wanted his way around it, make it so people have to pay for Twitter. Blew through a website, a web page, then there's no inapp purchases in the app itself. You completely bypass the Apple Store. Voila. Problem solved

Apple user

As an Apple user, this is just going to be devastating. Not to say, oh, dah, I can't survive without Apple or Twitter, but really, like, what a disruption of activity when it comes to networking across the globe, when it comes to the talk spaces that we do and conversations?

Apple user here didn't really read the terms and conditions on the App Store in detail. I do know one of Apple's hill to die on is content moderation and based on everything that Elon has done since he has been put in charge jays he's laid off a lot of, if not all of the content moderation team. And there's a lot of people with problematic ideals that have been brought back on Twitter. And by association, I think Apple being involved with something of the sort
