#TellYourStory | What started out feeling terrible and turned out to be wonderful?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
And it's about a father and a son, but it's really about a much deeper conversation we can all have with our selves, which is when something is terrifying, all the things are triggered in us, and we go to the darkest places. And this is a story of something terrifying. And then all of a sudden, everything's fine. And it's more than fine

Humbled by #God during my #Incarceration!

And it was a very humbling experience because my life was taking a turn for the worst. So that was the time and moment in which he held me by the hand and he got me through it. And he continues to help me throughout. Any turbulation, any problem, anything that arises that I think will be hard for me to go through, he literally pushes me to grow through what I am going through

It sounds amazing that you are not only here to tell the story with such confidence but that you feel like you're on a mission to really let people know that this was the light at the end of your tunnel and it continues to shine. What an amazing, powerful way to live life with that incredible partnership. I'm really happy you're here and you're not ashamed to tell your story

And she was really close to my sister. It angers me because I wouldn't be one more little thing. Like I was saying, my mom and dad passed away the end of last year and I got to sing at their memorial service. Well, I also have a special song for them, too. Also, my mom's special song is called Angels from Randy Travis, and my dad's song is called daddy's little girl by the Shires. I was privileged to sing it

No matter how your day start out….. Dont give up. There’s still time to make it better! #chosenqueenofbrooklyn

And it was like, today I felt I really didn't want to go out, but my pastor asked me to come out, and we get a little bit of food to give out to the people in the street. So I headed over to the church, and I just started thinking about our teenagers and what we can do to try to inspire them. And I realized one of the ways of inspiring our young people is reinspiring the adults and encouraging adults to not give up on the children so fast

I'm now doing really good. I'm not saying I'm doing perfect. I'm definitely not. But I even have a car. I have a house. I'm sober, and I'm staying out of trouble, not doing anything. I'm getting my life together, and I'm about to start a bachelor's degree in psychology. Very momentarily, as soon as I find a school to go to, I'm doing it

I want to say congratulations to you, and I'm very proud of you. My sister tried to quit three times in her 19 years, and. And I miss her dearly. I know it's a very hard thing to do. And the last two weeks of her life, she did crack cocaine for two weeks straight. And I know that she had a low self esteem all of her life because of our disability. And I did, for a long time

You. That was super intense, your story. Oh, my God. I am so sorry about your sister. I am so sorry. And I definitely relate to you guys. Yes, man, she's honestly blessed. She was very blessed to have a sister like you, because I have a sister and a brother, and they don't know anything about what's going on with me. They don't even recognize that I have kids. They never did

And look at that. Lo and behold, karma. They weren't able to spend the money because the lottery ticket had expired. That blows my mind because I have schizophrenia. I didn't realize that I had gotten it in 2020. I had just set it to the side. I was fighting with my husband back then and fighting to the tooth and nail to get my kids back and struggling so hard financially

And I do like 2 hours of work a day, and they pay me so much money, and they're like, you have seniority at this company now. So in conclusion, go find yourself a job where you don't do anything, at a company where all you can do is fail upwards is the best

I got there, I stayed there for a week, and I was pretty depressed. Like, maybe a few days before I was, like, attempting suicide, I don't know. But at first I was really anxious and very socially, very, I guess, socially anxious. I was really down and I felt lonely, but I also felt scared to talk to anyone. And then over time, like, over a course of a week, I guess, ended up being a pretty good experience

#TellYourStory #ChronicPainSeries #ImPrettySureIAlreadyToldYouThis #PhysicalTherapy

For me, the answer is easy. What started out feeling terrible and ended up being great physical therapy. I remember when I most recently had to jump into physical therapy again, which I will definitely dive into on my premium swellcast in my chronic pain series. But I remember being excited that I was going to physical therapy. I was like, ooh, physical therapy. You get my massages, heat and ice and all those kinds of things. And once I got there, I realized that I forgot

So moving along, I say to myself, within my first few months of getting into this wrestling business, I'm going to go out of state. And I had never been out of state at this time. And I not only said I was going out of state, I was going to the premier wrestling place in Kentucky, Ohio Valley Wrestling

That's one of the reasons I like this prompt, is because sometimes gifts are hidden. They're so hidden. And we have to find grace and breathe and hope that things turn around like they did for you. Great to hear your voice here, Reggie. Thank you

Finding the perfect partner

Work that out because there are probably people that if you learn to get along with them, they will produce the most beautiful relationships you have ever had in your life. Thanks for listening
