So today, me and my friend went to this mock law class, and the topic that was being discussed in this class was interrogating whiteness in shared spaces. And someone raised their hand and in reference to the phrase white guilt and basically was saying how they feel like there should be another phrase in place of white guilt, like white responsibility, because as a white person, if you were to hear white guilt, then you feel like there's this connotation of shame
