In Hartford, the food insecurity rate the number of people who are both low income and lack access to healthy food, is nearly 20%. In Waterbury, New Haven and Bridgeport, Connecticut, that rate is around 16 and a half percent. The proposed solutions range from state programs to microstorefronts of donated food, but are united behind a simple goal the eventual end of food insecurity in Connecticut. Hey, Connor, this is really well done, man. I wanted to come on and just kind of give some support to you here and hopefully encourage other people to do the same. It was a pretty captivating story. The statistics were shocking, to say the least. I think you said 86,000 kids are hungry in this US. I believe that's what you said. As much as that's unfortunate, that's a pretty low number compared to how many people live in America
