They talked about it, but not in detail. But you have children that are going and a lot of parents that are not knowing. I have a coworker. Her child actually goes to the same school that my daughter goes to, and she knew nothing about it. I just feel that the world today is sad that we have to take those measures in order to provide safety for our children and for the staff of the school. But it's also necessary

The bell rang and you were marched back through the hallway, escorted to your classrooms. Whereas in a suburban school, it's like, oh, yeah, you can take your lunch out in the courtyard, see some sunshine, breathe. Right? Because we're teaching really young adults who are really on their way. They're 1ft out the door already at that age and 1ft into adulthood. So let's treat them like adults in these urban schools

It breaks my heart that these children have to be dealing with this because I just wonder what type of learning environment is that, right? Can they even really focus on their schoolwork when they're dealing with. You know what I mean? When they're thinking about that. Even with the school shooters, how can children focus on their work when that's something that could be a reality for them? I just don't get it

They want to as long as there's availability. But that's not what they were doing. They were trying to make sure that so many people of certain each comes were at different schools instead of it just being in one thing. I thought about being a school teacher, but I don't know if I could do it
