Maya Angelou | People forget what you said, but never forget how you made them feel...

And I look, and sure enough, it's around the time I'd asked him before, is there anything that's making you upset no. But when I looked at his chart and I saw that his mom had passed, I knew exactly what was making him upset. When my mom first passed, I remember that I would get upset around the beginning of November all the way to January. I didn't know why I had an attitude. And then I realized November is my mom's birthday

It gets to you. People dwell on shit. I get it now. So I'm tired of hurting people's feelings. You know, I'm just gonna tell it like it is if it hurts their feelings. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it that way. To hurt no one's feelings. I just like helping people understand things when they don't understand things. Like my sister

Hey, thanks so much for responding. And thanks so much for seeing my view of things. Because people forget. Like, in order for you to feel something, you got to see or hear something. And you don't just feel because you feel so. You know, to me, I love the quote by Maya Angelou, but it's not wholeheartedly true. Right? And then I agree with you that there are all kind of cultures that are privileged and all kind of cultures that are poor
