I think it's only trending now because of TikTok's fastpaced algorithm, in my opinion. So if you're considering getting cargo pants, definitely get them. They are very utilitarian. I totally agree. The square to wood sandals and heels are not really flattering, but a lot of influencers are wearing it and it's on the hop right now. But the one fashion trend that I really like is the baggy clothing. Like, not the skinny tops which touch your skin, that makes you feel itchy. The baggy clothing is definitely the one trend that I hope never goes away

So it depends on what you feel like works for you personally. So if you feel like baggy clothing is your best bet and you feel the most comfortable in it, I feel like it would stick with you regardless of whether it's trending or not.
