What is REAL self care?

So I thought sometimes I need reminding and you never know when someone else might need reminding to look after themselves. And if you have any thoughts on what self care really is for you, then let me know and let's continue conversation

What do you think self care truly is?

And I've started suggesting to my team that I managed to do something similar just because it's office space and just making sure that you take stuff away from the computer, give your eyes a break, grab a drink, stretch your legs. And it can make all the difference. And I've had a few people now say, actually, like I've suggested putting a timer on

So yeah, I think it's very important, especially. It's interesting, because I'm like working hybrid. So I work both in the office and at home. I don't work in the office as much as I do at home. So when I go in the office, I'm like, oh, actually, I've done a lot less work today because there's so many natural pauses. You'll be talking to someone and the conversation gets interesting

So it's a great question, Charlie, to ask us, because listening to both of you, we all have such alternative ways of just assessing. But the assessing is the gift just to actually have the conversation and care about it. It's just so beautiful. So I am super aware that when I think about self care, it has to be in my language. It can't be in some kind of interpretation from other people. It has to be. What do I need in this moment?

I'm not really focused because I need to remember to pick some stuff up from the shops and after work, and I need to remember to put clothes in the wash and all of these things. Also, I think I said before that I love hearing these patients, and I love the fact that people often will bring up self care because it's one of those things that kind of slips to all the bottom of the list for all of us really increase myself

I'll get up in the morning, I have a physical health condition, but I'll still be like, I have to do yoga because it's going to make you feel good, and then I end up breaking myself. So sometimes, as you said, we've got to find what works for us, and self care is really important
