What do you think of adding a pronoun feature to Swell?

Hello Swell verse. I just wanted to put out an idea and I'd love some responses on what you guys think of adding pronouns to Swell. So when you respond to Say Me in Ask Swell, you would see my name and then you'd also see they them in brackets next to it because my pronouns are they them? I just think it would be great to talk about this. And if you approve, then please either react to this or even better give a little response

Do you think it would be helpful to see someone's pronouns when you respond to their Swell? Let me know so we can shape our community.

So I think as you have done in your own profile, if pronouns are added in users descriptions, then other users can quickly discover it by just tapping on the user's pick starting from the upcoming release release of the app. So I think this is a great shout out and I hope this will help resolve the request

It's really nice to be able to Hover over somebody's photograph or click on it and not be redirected when I'm listening to something, but I still feel that having the ability to have it added near the name is really helpful. Like if I have multiple people that have replied to me on a post, I might not always have the time to be able to click on each one

But this is about raising a little bit more of an awareness. So if it's something that can be next to a name, even or in some way included, without having to be part of the page description that you have to actually go and click on. I think that that creates a visibility and it just creates it just basically normalizes what should be normalized in our everyday conversation without making assumptions. And I do really agree with Charlie, thanks, that it is a wonderful growing community

Hello, everyone. Thank you for all your replies so far. Yeah. With Tasha and Jessica. I'm in agreement, I think because I guess it's about reaching the people who aren't going to seek out people's pronouns who might see a Davis and brackets and be like, What's that? And then give it Google and then go, okay, and find themselves in a rabbit hole on the Internet or something like that

That means that everyone does know or does remember to and actually after years and years of being brought up and learning that there is a binary gender and that's it there's one or the other. It takes a while for people to get into habits. I think you have to like, repeat something

I think including our pronouns would be a great idea. I already include mine in my profile, and I have no problem with that at all. And so just to have it more visible to other people would be a fantastic idea

My vote is YES to pronouns on Swell!

Hey, Charlie, I know that this was discussed about a couple years ago about adding pronouns to the Swell app, but I wanted to chime in anyways and say that I think that's really important for that feature to be added. I just checked the profile, and I still do not see the ability to do that. I think I added it off after my last name in parentheses, s
