The "M" in Monotonous

The daily routine, taking the kids to school, going to work, coming back or sending them to tuition, or extracurricular activities like having food ready and so on and so forth. I think activities like this for families is what strengthens the relationship between parents and their children. Right. And when it comes to myself, it's those consistent daily meals with our loved ones or that time that we spend watching a show that helps us strengthen our bonds and create lasting memories. And it is monotonous

Whether baking and cooking and frying, not really fry. I don't like frying very much, but also grilling for food. I work from home. 75% of my time, of my working time, I work from home. And it's kind of a monotonous kind of lifestyle. Sometimes it gets me bored when I finish working because I like to be outside. I like to walk. I like to go for a walk on the beach, park. And I like road trips

So I think when adventure is your way of life, is your lifestyle or is your way of living, then it tends to get more draining as compared to the regular, mundane life, mundane chores that you got to do on a daily basis. But I think this is where the idea that life majorly happens in monotony comes in. And this is where I think we need to make certain tweaks. Not just big changes, but just certain tweaks. How can we add newness to our monotonous day?

And even between me and my sister, we're so different when it comes to approaching the monotonous. Me, even for the small things. Like, my sister is someone, she can make one pot of one dish, she can eat it on the same day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and that's what she does. And when I'm home, I can't do that. Every meal has to be different. I can't eat the same thing three times a day

So what you can do, as you said and nicely suggested, is make small tweaks in your routine. And I think that this is the way we adapt. Right. And I think I do it naturally too, interestingly enough, now that I think about it, and for me, it's not week or day to day, I think there are seasons. There are seasons where I will do my writing. And then suddenly now I feel like I have a voracious appetite

And despite the fact that I don't use Instagram, I don't have that app on my phone. I don't have YouTube on my app on my phone. But still, I would log into YouTube shorts and watch them for half an hour or an hour. That's such a waste of time. So this phone, getting away from your phone for a considerable period of time during the day is also important, and I think it is one of the biggest favors one can do to oneself
