A lot of people say that it's a very cliche line, but a lot of us can agree in some ways history tends to repeat itself, and history will tell you that it has

You are seriously ignoring a fundamental chunk of history that affected a lot of people, a lot of people that built this country as well. So if we don't make some sort of a change in that regard, I fear that we are doomed to repeat ourselves. Like you said,

There's anomalies, of course, and everything, but for the most part, kids are just being kids. They don't care that what color you are or whatever. They're just playing and having a good time or whatever. And then certain seeds get planted, of course, by the adults, and we're just trained to have this mentality, and it creates this system we're in where it's like when black crime happens, it validates white people's beliefs
