Mentoring on Swell?

article image placeholderUploaded by @BttrflyRastaGrl
A question for the Swell community. Is anybody using this app for mentoring, to mentor, or to receive mentorship? This is something that I am thinking of doing for my personal mentees that I have with my spiritual coaching business. And I thought that this might be a place to do that. What are your thoughts? Morning. I would love to do that. My business is coaching mums who feel like they've lost themselves and coming back to themselves after having a baby, finding their sense of identity again. How would you how are you thinking that you would set it up on this platform?

I just got into the app, so I'm kind of trying to feel what's possible and what's not. But this was one of the first things that I wanted to do with it. So let's hope that we get more dialogue with this and we can get some kind of idea of how to move forward

And only recently I've just started to do recordings and it's actually really helped me because it's made me break through, have little breakthroughs with certain things. And I guess that's because I've now allowed myself to be open with a free flow of things coming through to me. But I guess I'm going to start doing these recordings on Swell and then getting a flow of me doing a podcast as such, which allows me to also put my own spin on being an entrepreneur affiliate marketer

TikTok helped me to really open up and be okay with not only speaking, but being on video and presenting in that way as well. So I think I'm going to also approach Swell as kind of like little mini podcasts in a way to kind of train and develop that particular skill because that's also something that I would like to do. So thank you for getting back and replying and adding to the conversation and giving me some perspective. Have an amazing day. Bye

I learned so much from your reply. Thank you. I didn't know I could set up groups. I didn't know I could do private, so that is really good news. What I want to use it for is I have quite a network of people that I mentor or I coach via my social media platforms through direct messaging, and many of them can't really afford to pay my normal fees

Hey. I just wanted to pop in here to reinforce what already has been said and also tag on the idea of I had a swell a couple months back about people identifying themselves as mentors or mentees. I guess we're always students and teachers, so that I put the hashtag tag here just so you can look at some people who used it. I do think that the concept of a private conversation that is, between a few people even, is a wonderful way to track a small community

It's a lot. This app is amazing, and it can be very useful. At the same time, I have to be mindful of not getting overwhelmed. I really appreciate your perspective and your feedback. It has been incredibly helpful. Thank you
