Will you be watching Season 3 of Netflix's YOU?
Last year, a friend told me I had to watch the Netflix series you. She warned me that it is absurd and kind of hilarious in its absurdity, and she wasn't wrong and it definitely scratches a particular itch of mine, which is thrillers that go into kind of extreme and almost unbelievable places. And that is definitely the case for you. Season one was about the protagonist stalking and getting a writer to fall in love with him when he was a bookstore manager

And prior to Squid Game, it was pretty much the talk of the town of Netflix's. You it's got some stiff competition now in terms of the talk, but people are already busy with anticipation. As you said, this comes out Friday, so I will be watching it then

And both me and my partner were like, Again, Will it never end? It was really good to see. I think it has a good mix of being, I don't know. It's got, like, the thrillery stuff. It's got the kind of indepth psychological stuff and kind of reaching into the protagonist's past and showing us the sort of whys of what he does

I don't even know if I'd necessarily say that it is good by our typical standards of what makes a TV show good, but it is good in the sense that when it's on, I can't stop watching it's like a bad accident that you can't take your eyes off. It is crazy. There are multiple moments. I share a similar feeling to Charlie and that I will look at Heidi and we will just be like, what is going on here? This is just insanity

Okay, so this goes to show how little I remember of TV shows after I seen them. I had to look up who Crystallia is, and I even Googled Crystallia you to try to see if there were any shots of him in season two. And I cannot remember for the life of me what this dude was doing in the show. Can you give me any hint of what his subplot was all about?
Charlie Olivieri

And that is totally sick of Crystallia did not know, but I just totally forgot and didn't realize it was that guy. I just thought he was some comedian I've never seen in anything before. A big ish to that
And I think he invited her over to watch her film or to watch some film. I don't know. But maybe just like seeing her face will remind you of the scene. And I know the main character was lurking in the house trying to get dirt on this guy because I think he knew he was a pedophile. Let me know if that sounds familiar

I have nothing to add to this conversation except to say yes, I will be. I'm excited. And I'll be watching it starting this Friday

Oh, my God. I totally remember this. Now I can't remember why we know this girl or why she's involved. But I do remember this scene. And doesn't she end up like, doesn't she end up getting away? But the main dude ends up killing him as well or something. I'm going to have to rewatch season two. I think that I think that's what they have to say about it

So I've been watching the latest season, and I think I'm currently on episode four, and I just think it's fascinating thinking about the dynamics of a marriage and also the aspects of gender that are playing this show that are obviously very extreme since they're both killers
Melissa Mccarter
@lissahoop · 1:53
I've actually watched the first season, and your comments are really interesting because I hadn't thought about them in terms of gender. Specifically, you were talking about the woman. I can't remember her name, but having basically a jealous reaction. And I thought that was very interesting. But I think it also plays out into stereotype, but also into wish fulfillment in terms of women being jealous about men cheating or wanting to cheat

I am so excited to hear what you think of the rest of the season. I had a very similar reaction to the first episode, and I have a lot more thoughts on the entire season that I'm going to hold off on sharing until you and others maybe catch up or finish it. Yeah, I really, really want to talk about it, but let's wait and see. Definitely keep me posted
Alright. So I think I'm on episode five and I wanted to talk about a couple of things, see how everybody is feeling. One. This may be a spoiler, but I think that anybody that's watching this show is pretty aware that this is sort of what's happening is the show just going to consistently be these two characters making mistake after mistake after mistake and then them having to clean it up because if so, it's getting a little bit repetitive
So now Joe moves on, starts a new in a different location and they can sort of do the balls to the wall crazy stuff again in a different setting. And when shows do that as good as I thought that the ending was that always sort of lingers in the back of my mind that this was sort of the easy out for them, and that's okay. I'm not expecting too much more from this show. What I will say is the last few episodes, probably the last two

So there's some hot gossip for you about this show. I'm not going to lie. I am sad that Love is with us no more. I really enjoyed her character and I thought she was a really great antagonist for Joe, but I am also really excited about season four. So I'll link to the announcement that season is going to be out and I would love to hear what you think about it and what you think is going to happen next for Joe
