Bowie on the Road | A Memphis Love Affair

article image placeholderUploaded by @bowie
The last time you heard from me, I was in Louisville, Kentucky. Since then, I have made my way west to Memphis, where I have always wanted to go. I've always felt kind of a spiritual connection to that city, and I wasn't let down. I was only able to stay two nights, but I had a chance to drive around a little grab coffee in my neighborhood, go on a dog walk. And I got a good sense

Hey, Bowie. How's it going? Wow. I love this post. I love that picture of the house of the 60s Mustang parked on the drive. What a cute house, man. I spent ten days in Memphis. My wife took me, I think, about ten years ago for her birthday, and it was amazing. We loved it. One thing I can remember about Memphis. The sky was so blue. Particular type of blue that you don't see in London

Mark, I am so jealous that you got to be in Memphis for as long as you did. I was super bummed that I could only be there for two days. So I'm already looking forward to going back. I really want to eventually go to Graceland and just in general, check more of the historical music sites there because there are so so many of them. So thank you so much for sharing your stories

Loved it

I think somebody bought the hotel and now they're doing it up, so that would be a place to visit. I don't know what the chicken place is called. If I can find it, I'll let you know. But I was told it was the best chicken in Memphis. Fried Chicken had a jukebox little tables and we went there and it was so cool. Even the Cook came out to chat with us, and we had this whole I got it on video somewhere
