Writing Life: Reading to survive

article image placeholderThe State of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity
I just think she's brilliant and her work is really fascinating. I listened to the audiobook, which was a super enjoyable experience because I just think she's a totally captivating reader. And if you've ever seen any of her talks either on Ted or on YouTube, I think you'll totally understand what I mean here. And I'm curious, what are you reading right now?

Hi, Rachel. Yeah. My writing is I don't even know about my writing, although I will say I have written three podcasts. I wrote three podcasts yesterday. I probably will work on writing more podcasts tomorrow and then because my podcasts are scripted, so I will record a lot of it after I write a few more and then I will record podcasts. So that's what I'm working on. As far as writing goes reading

@RobbinMilne want to hear your thoughts about Crawdads!

About two years ago when I started my reading project and I was reading, becoming more of an avid reader and really focusing on how many books I'm reading and just really pushing myself to read more. And it was on Instagram, which we call bookstagram for posting pictures of books and things. There was a time when every post or every other post were the Crawdads in the book is lovingly called Crawdads now, but every post was Crawdads Crawdads. Crawdads

There was a period of time where I feel like I've seen Crawdads everywhere and I still have not had the chance to read it. So if and when I get around to reading it, I would love to talk to you both about it for sure

Possibly I'm rereading them to remember if they're appropriate enough for her because I got them in high school. But yeah, that's what I'm doing right now

I do not believe in it. I borrow books in the library and I borrow audio books to save time so I can multitask. But for the stories, just repopulating the Earth with books. My minimalist sized abort abort. Oh, no, that's bad. How about this make it shorter anyway? Bye

Recently I've read books by Akala and David Goggins

It was a lot happening, a lot of marches and demonstrations and stuff, and there was a lot of arguing going on between people, and I wanted to sort of educate myself on some subjects because people were saying things, and I wasn't sure whether they were true or not. And it turns out a lot of stuff that people say isn't true. And the book that I chose to read first was a book by Akara and he's a British rapper, a journalist, an activist and poet

Comics and audiobooks are my jam

I need to get back to the second book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy, because that's where I left off as far as nonfiction books. But yeah, I have been listening to several books on Audible because frankly, it's easier with the way my vision is. And I read comics on the ipad, my ipad Pro, and those are quite fun to check out an ipad because you can go panel by panel and you can get a really close look at the art as well

A quick self correction

I just wanted to correct myself really quick and mention that there are more than three books in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series for anyone that doesn't know they're actually six. Yeah, just had to fix that. I don't know where that came from. I why I had to say it that way or why it just popped out that way. But it's far more than a trilogy. Folks, there are six books in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series by Douglas Adams

Hello. Books. Four, one, five. I am so sorry I did not see your response. I know you even tagged me for whatever reason, I didn't get the notification on it. Maybe a swell glitch because it's really weird. I should have gotten a notification saying, hey, so and so tagged you or whatever. Nothing
