Hey, Sal. So I have to know if anyone else is playing this game called Wertle. You may have seen some articles pop up about it. It's taken over the Internet, and now I've a group of my friends and I are playing it every morning and then comparing our results and complaining and joking around about how challenging it is sometimes. But it's been a real blast. And for those of you that like word games, you would probably really like it

And I have to say it reminds me of the old Game Mastermind, where you would guess a sequence of beads that the other person set. And then, as you guessed, you would get a, hey, you got the right bead, wrong spot or the right beat in the right spot. And it would indicate with a white or black peg. So it's a lot like that. And then you can kind of use if then statements and your cognitive thinking to come up with a solution

Thank you for sharing this. I definitely want to practice. My competitive streak is coming out with my group of friends. We are now sharing how many tries it takes us every morning, which has been really hilarious. And today, especially was funny because many of us were sharing the words that we thought it would be or thought it should be, and it's just fun to see the overlap. So thanks for sharing this
Sudoku was a phenomenon, and everybody had a Sudoku app at that time. So yeah, this has again become a fad like that crease like that. It's a fun game definitely worth enjoying. And I hope it's makers and all are kind of reaping the success, if you will. I think I just read another article that Apple pulled out all the clones called the clone Apps that come up there. So that's good news. But yeah, it's definitely a simple, fun game
Hey, Bowie, I just heard about this game literally yesterday, for the very first time, and I was intrigued, but I didn't really check it out. And then today, I took a stab at it and I was pretty happy with my results. I how this game gets incredibly difficult. But yeah, I had fun with it. Didn't take me too long. Looking forward to tomorrow

Booyah. I think it's so funny that I've fallen into the same trap about bragging about how many guesses it took me to get a specific word. And I think it's the wrong metric that we should be tracking each other on. And I bring that up because sometimes it's just luck that's involved it. If you get something in two or three tries
And so I came up with another five letter word, all different letters, letters I have not yet used. And none of the letters were in today's hurdle. So that obviously eliminated some of the potential letters for me and made my life a h*** of a lot easier. And I was able to finish on try number six. So I'm two days in, I'm two for two

I had to go in my fourth and third and fourth tries and just go completely to trying letters that I had not used at all, just to try to get one of the letters and just ignore the letters that I already had, eventually got to three letters and then figured it out from there. But trying that last word in the last space is always kind of that take a deep breath and just hope you're not missing something

I thought this one could have been a little bit tricky today I got it in four pretty proud of that so I thought I'd post that but I thought it was kind of tricky today. Could have been tricky. It's one of those things where if you don't get the right letters I think could take a few tries. Interested to see how you did

But I was trying to think of an out of the box word for my second guest just to get more letters and see if it would help me. And I guess the word Tawni as my second word totally random based off of a character's name in a British cop drama I was watching last night and that helped me get to Tangy in Three Guesses. Otherwise it would have taken me more for sure
Based on both your comments, I had to try it out myself. I did it without hearing Bobby's kind of spoiler. So here it took me five turns. Here is my flow. I'm posting it here. I'll put a spoiler note on this image. Anyways, I think it's interesting to see what words you guess as well. So sorry if anybody has not looked at it and stumbles on it, but I think that should be a standard Disclaimer on any vertical thread

Great question. So I asked my friends this earlier in the week because I didn't want to be wasting turns on words with double letters. And it doesn't say in the official rules. But yes, double letters are allowed. And there have been a few examples of some words I guess in previous weeks. And even I think earlier this week it was like the day after I asked the question there ended up being it was the word Abby that had two BS

I start looking at those letters that I know already, and I start plugging in double letters everywhere. So just something that I've become accustomed to. Just because it has tripped me up so much in the past. I want to make sure that I'm thinking of that first

Are you telling us that you actually had Tang for breakfast? I didn't think they made that anymore. And I'm actually going to go look it up to see if they actually do still make it. But you might be the first person that I've encountered and maybe, I don't know, 30 years that actually has drank Tang at breakfast. Way to go. And Congrats on the two words. That's unbelievable
So believe it or not, paying is still available. People can still consume it. After all these years, nothing bad has happened to those that did, except for maybe some sugar related issues. No, I didn't actually have Tang for breakfast this morning. I like, you kind of forgot about it. But I did have a breakfast that was semi tangy. I had this nondairy cream cheese and had a Tang to it. Like I am not quite used to

Okay, January 15. And I got it in three tries today. And I really took my time. And after the second attempt I started to really, really think through it. And all of a sudden it just absolutely came to me. I didn't even need to see it turned green. I knew I had it. So three tries today, January 15

I almost find it a bit easier when my guess is I have a couple of letters throughout, like the first and third or fourth letter or something. I'm curious if that's the case for anyone else

I almost didn't get it. It took six tries and I actually had another friend who didn't get it at all. And he was so close. He was so close for his last three guesses, but there's much humor in the process. So I'm glad that you're playing along with us

Thanks for sharing this. I am a big aficionado of word magic, just in general, like neuro linguistic programming and words and how they have an effect on us. But I love word games and I haven't played in a good minute anything on the phone because I'm not sure I want to try. It's kind of hard. There's so many but it's like the problem of choice. So thank you for bringing this up

Well done. Well done. Yeah. Today was a little bit tricky and I'll go into reasons for that because I just want to give everybody the opportunity to stop me right now because there is a spoiler alert. I'm going to talk about the solution along with the Bowie solution there. But I had guest paste my first word and then I saw that I had the E in the right position and the S in the wrong position.
