Review: MINI PROJECTOR edition πŸ“½

article image placeholderUploaded by @bowie
So I decided to go for it and I purchased the Vancouver. I think that's how you say it. V-A-N-K-Y-O Leisure three mini projector on Amazon. It was the Amazon's choice pick, which did help me. I definitely decided to purchase this based on how many really positive reviews that I got and I have had nothing but a positive experience. The image quality is great. There are so many different ways to project from. You can plug in your computer, your phone

This purchase has changed my #covid19 life! https://s.swell.life/STU5JmAHCtDfokA

So I just want to give an update that I tried connecting my Chromecast to the mini projector last night, and I failed horribly from the research I did. The Chromecast should work with the projector because it does have an HDMI Port, so it may actually be more an issue with my very old Chromecast that I need to try to factory set or something like that to see if it will work. So I will update you there when I have the time

And then what happened was I think after that, in a year later, we moved into our new house and our new house had a theater room or had a media room that was close to our bedroom, much closer to our bedroom on the upper floor. So I ended up taking this mini projector and setting it up more formally, along with my previous home theater speakers and receiver, all of which I had picked up really a great price as well

Oh, man. Shawnee, I think you just got me started on another project, and this time it is going to be Rachel figures out out how to make surround sound happen. So I will report back. Thank you for sharing all of this. It is giving me the nudge to do a little more research into my sound options, because that's the final thing to really make the experience feel like I'm at the movies. So I will report back

And in order to do that, they have these speakers called studio monitors, which tend to reproduce the sound exactly as exact as possible. They said that studio monitors double up very well for home theater speakers. So along those lines, one of them said the cheapest studio monitors that they usually use is one by JBL and is an excellent one. It's called the JBL Control one. These things range around, I think $$75 to $100 around somewhere around that $80 ish per speaker
