What's your favorite book cover? Tell me why you love it.

Obviously, we all know not to judge a book by its cover, but let's be honest, sometimes we've all done that, and often it's because of something about the cover art that immediately resonates with you and draws you in. But what is it that makes a book cover stand out? And how does one even condense the essence of an entire a book down to a single image worthy of the story that the book has to say? I think this is an art by itself

@Ramya But above the gray land and the spasms of bleak dust which drift endlessly over it, you perceive, after a moment, the eyes of Doctor T. J. Eckl

As readers, we are the creepy eyes that follow the plot along as it races across while thinking that we are all the green lights. It's brilliant, actually. So I really like The Great Gatsby, and I also personally like all the rebranding that has happened for all the Haruki Murakami books. They have rebranded every single book of his in red, white and black color. And the final effect

Sorry for pausing, but the black and red on Kafka on the Shore is really cool. I always liked the COVID for After Dark. I think it gets like the bright excitement of the nightlife, but it's also kind of shady as well. One of my favorite books from him is The Wind Up Bird Chronicle, and it's a thick book and it brought back a lot of feelings and emotions, and I don't think that that cover really explains a lot from the book

Would not be able to really name a few at the moment. But then I still remember. Yes. Gone with the wind. It did have an amazing print. The color and the sharp colors are very attractive. I picked it up for that. Then there was this book called Wrongfully, rightfully Wrongfully. Right. So that had this couple standing on the front page, the COVID with hearts everywhere. I don't know, I somehow had this huge thing about hearts being romantic, fool myself

But also, I think, because these were written by members of the Navy Seal, that the content has to be good, or at least you can learn a thing or two. The last one. For crying out rhymes. Confessions untold. I like this cover mainly because, well, it is my book. But more importantly, the picture on the COVID is something that I had clicked. I know, really, I had no idea why I clicked
