So I'm really hoping to give myself that this summer, even if I can't get to them or finish them this month. So what books are you reading for Pride? Or what is maybe a LGBTQIA or queer books that you just absolutely love and that you think of every Pride. Can't wait to hear it

Hey, great question. I read We Are the Ants by Sean David Hutchinson. I didn't realize that it was an LGBTQIA book until I started reading it, but I'm glad that I did. I'm glad that I finished it, and it really brings up some really great philosophical ideas about who should be saved and why and how humans really are. If you haven't read it, I recommend it

Oh, wow. This looks like such a great read. For those who haven't heard of this book, it says that it's described as such. Harry Denton has spent years being periodically abducted by aliens. Then the aliens give him an ultimatum. The world will end in 144 days, and all Henry has to do is to stop it is push a big red button only he isn't sure he wants too. That sounds so fun. I am adding it to my to be red list now

And this would go under the weird book, but it also goes into LGBTQIA plus because Henry's gay and he is dealing with his feelings, and there is a big twist in the book with dealing with other people's feelings. I'm just going to leave it there because I can't ruin it. But this book, it's a little bit thick. T-H-I-C-C. She's thick

You. Hi. The books that I'm reading for guide month is Hijab Butch Blues A Memoir. It's by Lamya H. I was excited to see this as a recommendation in our local library. We do have a great library that's supportive of LGBTQIA folks, and I do not think that they're following through with the book bands, and I need to follow up and make sure. But I have found this book very powerful in so many ways

You? Well, that's an interesting question. I don't really read any specific gay books just to be reading them, and I'm not sure I would like the modern books all that much. But then, on the other hand, I don't know that I've read any, so I can't say one way or the other
