Do you pause to read the book dedication page when starting a new book?
Reading book dedications make me really happy. In fact, I wish someone would just make a book of all the best ones out there. I'm curious though. Anyone else here who is obsessed with book dedications? Or are you someone who just likes to dive right into the thick of things when you have a book to read? I know we don't remember a lot of these book dedications that we come across. Many of them are, to be honest, too plain to actually stand out

When I write my books, I make sure I put dedications in there because even though writing is a solo journey, many times we're thankful for the people that we cross baths with or the loved ones in our life. So, yeah, thank you for this. Swell. Bye

And again, I have always been curious about her as a writer and what has inspired her. And she has also written under the name of Mary West Maccott, several novels which are more to do with the human mind psychology to a great extent, I think, drawing inspiration from her own life. And at the same time, she spun out so many mysteries out there
