The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella | Book Review

article image placeholderUploaded by @Book_gobbler
Sophie, author and no one, absolutely no one can write like she does. Also, she's not a chiclet writer. She writes empowering stories, heartwarming stories, stories of triumph. And you need to read her books to know why I say this. As always, our female main character, Sasha, is in bit of a situation here. She's overworked and she is burnout

Sasha Finn, Royal Stone Hotel all three are broken and yet manage to entertain us lot and coming to the supporting characters supporting characters are mere caricatures. They breathe life into this story. Herbert, Cassidy and Simon add that much needed comic relief. They are compelled by their circumstances to act in a certain way, yet they have a stereotypical cartoonish vibe about them which effortlessly tickles your funny bones. And characters like Terry are heartwarming and a much needed boost in an otherwise dull life

This book resonated with me on so many levels. Having been a corporate slave for a good part of my life with emotional less managers to man the team, so many ashers out there, I can vouch how terrifying burnout can be. And so Kinsella taking up this issue and addressing it with so much warmth, that's what won me over again. A die hard Salah fan. So that was my review for the Burnout by Sofik and Salah
