Heart disease in America and how is perceived

I'll let you search through your memory and think about how many women you've ever heard of having heart surgery. I'll let you go ahead and think about that if I insert the Jeopardy theme song here. But like, you hear about men having heart surgery all the time. Stents, quadruple bypasses everything, man. But the shame about it is that more women die in America of heart disease than men do. But you never hear about a woman having heart surgery

Hey, Jeremy, I want to just thank you for bringing this to the attention of all of us listening. And I've always known that women present differently than men. So basically, men, two thirds of men, they say, have, like, the classic heart attack symptoms. But only one third of women do. So that leaves twothirds of women not presenting the same way. So they have lots of heart issues that they don't realize are heart issues
