Celia Finkelstein

Hey, Celia, thank you so much for being a part of this conversation. As I mentioned in my email, this interview process is just an open architecture for all the all the robust beauty of the this topic to just flow, touch on the personal, the professional and just any philosophy you have about this conversation. I'm so excited you can do as many swells as you want. And I just appreciate you being a part of this. So here we go. Thanks so much

Thank you 🙏 @celiafink

My grandparents owned a business and they worked seven days a week, and it wasn't so much about perfection, but about work, you work everything. Work comes before everything. It's always been okay in my family to miss something because you had to work, miss a wedding, miss a holiday. It's fine if you're working

Creating imperfections?

Thank you so much for your answer. And I wanted to ask another, and there's no timeframe whether or not you can answer it now or later. But because you're a writer and an actor, I know you step into roles and you create roles, and it's very godlike, actually, in the sense that all creators create from nothing. And you have your hand in manifesting this thing

I think even the characters that come across as perfect are always sort of a mess underneath. Or at least that's how I always play them. And to me, anyone who seems perfect on the outside is probably battling with some stuff underneath. And I think that always if I'm in a situation where I'm able to give input to the writer, communicate with the writer, then I might say so
