#BlackHistoryMonth | How can we move from hurt people hurting people to healed people healing people?

And this prompt is a doozy. I mean, on the surface, it's, it's a great idea. It's what I feel like anyone who's a healer is trying to strive for. But in reality, you know, it all starts with the individual person. So hurt people are not getting the help that they need to heal. Instead, they're hurting more people

Because when you want something, you're willing to do what's necessary to get to the next step. But a lot of times when you're dealing with a healer and a hurt person, you are looking at a situation where that healer is constantly trying to give love and nurture and water pretty much a dead plant that ain't coming back to life. And it's really not much you can do about that until that person recognizes it and moves on. And unfortunately, we see that so much

I will never lie to anyone and tell them that it is. Unfortunately, no one told me it was going to be easy or hard or anything. I just found myself smack dab in the middle and it was like, what do you do with this? But yeah, many people don't. They're not really looking for change. They just want someone to validate what they're doing. And unfortunately, that's the makeup of our society. Most of the time, there's very few people
