Buddy. Queen spoiling plenty rotten, folks cotton to him, though. Competitive king business mind having skills of versatility hard to find making ways out of nowhere. People say he could turn a dollar from a penny. That old black beauty. Billy McKinley. Queen cooked like it was Sunday dinner every day for her son. One. Queen cooked candy yams daily without fail. Queen always kept fresh sweet potatoes piled in a pail because candy yams was her son's favorite dish. Delicious wig

A poem about Black Beauty: Billy, Queen’s Son

And I just remember getting hill because I was like, why am I looking at him this way? And the conversation we were having felt final. And I remember being present in that moment. This sounds like a final conversation because he was asking about how I was doing, and was this in order? And was that in order? Do you have that? And are you okay with this? And I was like, Why is he talking to me like that? And he never called my son baby
