Hello and good evening everyone. As promised to you, I will be back by seven in the evening with today's interview. And the guest for today is Mr. Ochendia Sharma who is an author of Unannounced, a contemporary fictional novel. Before we begin the interview and the interesting conversation, first let me introduce the author. Mr. Sharma grew up in a family of writers where he was fortunate enough to observe the creative world of plays, prose and poetry very closely
As I grew up, I used to read a lot of books, fiction, nonfiction, everything. And I always imagine what the author and the writer is trying to tell us, as if I am that person and see, okay, this is how this person wants us to see the world. So I always thought that it's a wonderful thing to do myself, if I can write. Of course, writing as a habit was there. I used to write essays, diaries

Because as a reader perspective, a title is something that hooks the audience. Because was unannounced, like, it might be a thriller, it might be a suspense. So, like yeah. What was the background behind this?
And I find the whole unpredictability of events in life and meet encounters very fascinating. That brings an excitement in our world, in our lives, and we look forward to such kind of excitement. Unannounced was the first and the only and the very obvious choice for the title of this book

Sounds quite gripping enough to hook the readers to read the entire book. And the way you explain these concepts, this reminds me of basic things that we are being told. Like uncertainty is the only constant thing in life. Nothing is certain and life doesn't comes with a user manual. Because life has its own plans. And whatever we plan, at times it happens that nothing goes according to the predecided plan. Because life has some events which are unannounced, which happens suddenly and spontaneously
So is it okay that if one reads magazines, some articles or some books, some self help books which are not very complicated? So is it okay or is it very necessary that reading should be done every day? That's my question to you, sir. Thank you

Even now education has become digital, I don't deny that. But where is the brain? Sir? When you instinctly say a topic that you write on the so called whatever the topic that you choose when you give it to children, they start fumbling, they start stammering for words, they don't get the proper words, they don't articulate into a beautiful sentence it is all because that they lack the reading capacity
Sometimes you're stuck and you want to, you know, you're writing, and then you think, hey, what is this? I need to steer it in this direction. So it's a good, fun play that happens. I enjoyed the entire process. At no point of time, I felt strained by the fact that I'm writing. In fact, I was looking forward to every day when I was writing. And I had to do some research

Like, sometimes there is a hustle, there is so much of a hurry to be the published one, and people, they make mistakes and unfortunately, they end up into a disaster. So it would be great if you could put some light on this particular issue. One or two points of your guidance would be great for the people who are new to the writing. Thank you so much, sir
So these are things that I think are important and they will learn. I think we can't brush away people saying that, oh, because you're doing this, you are not good, or we should not be judgmental ever. Right. Of anybody. And they will respect us. And I'm sure they'll behave in their own way. That's fine. That's a part of growing up. I'm sure we did the same thing when we grew up

Thank you so much, Mr. Sharma, for spotlighting some important and major elements to be taken into consideration while writing a fictional book, especially a contemporary fiction. And how we can blend the real life scenarios with the fictional ones. Because yeah, that's true, there are many things happening in the surroundings where we cannot directly state our opinions. But at least we have a way we can write maybe in a form of a fictional writing and share it with the world out there
All of these things give inspirations, wakes up things in our head, or just provokes some thoughts, which I think can definitely help us in our writing. I hope this helps you in clarifying your thought. I think it's a discovery each of us have to make for ourselves
You. Thank you for your question. Yeah, I know when you're a first time writer, it's very difficult to think through all the steps that you need to go through and become a published writer, right? So it's very easy to write, but then after that, what's next? And as you said, this fear is always there. That what happens if my book is a disaster. Now, I think you used a very strong word called disaster
Yes. Chanali means to reply to a question about what I would advise younger writers or young writers. But I am also a young writer. It is my first book. So I could consider myself just as novice as anybody else can think of. But doesn't matter. One thing which learned through people like my dad and many others whom I have seen from clothes, who write, is just write. That's what my dad used to tell me. That don't worry, just write

So firstly, I would like to thank you for being such a wonderful guest and taking out your valuable time for our audience. But before we leave, this is the question that I ask every guest, and I would love to ask this question what is one life mantra or life principle that you have stood by no matter what?
Yeah, you know, life's mantra is a very difficult question to answer, right? So the whole process of publishing this book itself has taught me a lot of things. When I read the book myself as a reader, there are things that when I think of when I have to write my next book, what I should do and all those kind of things. So it's not just one mantra, but a set of things that as a writer that I need to pay more attention
I know it's real a bit tough that when you talk about reality check, sometimes it's very hard to grasp the reality for are us. And so I would like to know that what's the concept behind this? Like how you came up with this idea that you will focus on this particular conceptual and reality check and you will find how it is different from the fictional books. So this is it. Thank you sir

He is just imagining the world that you want the reader to be placed in their head. So what are your opinions means? That how much important the imagination and creativity is for a writer. If a person is lacking in being creative and being imaginative, that what can he or she do to improve themselves? So thank you so much
