We all seem to do it though, because we believe we're going to get somewhere or reach a goal more quickly than we would if we did things in moderation. Just look at diet and exercise. We fast and binge and become a gym rat, only to discover that things just aren't happening fast enough for us and we give up. Often we think we're going to reach a goal in one month, when in reality, to get lasting results, it may take a year or more
