And just definitely. In the workforce, I always felt like I needed to say yes, do more to move up in the ranking, and nine times out of ten, the people that were actually advancing around me were the ones that said no. I have learned more and more after having children the power of no and being okay with sitting with that and saying no and not doing things that I really just don't enjoy. I think that comes with not only with motherhood, but also with age

And building life and building moments according to your standards, which I think is the least we should do and could do as individuals, as the people living our own lives would be crazy to live it for other people.
