Brambleberry Jam by Frugal Feminist Foodie

article image placeholderUploaded by @BeaconOV
Hi, everyone. This is river. I am introducing our first recipe that we're hosting on the Beacon. This is from our good friend, Rosie, the frugal feminist foodie. And she is going to give you her little tidbit. And then she's going to give you a recipe for Brambleberry jam, which is to die for. I have a can of it or a jar of it in my refrigerator, and it is literally the best jam I've ever had

Four cups granulated sugar Five tablespoons lemon juice Put the fruit, sugar and lemon juice into a large pan. Place pan over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until all of the sugar crystals have dissolved. You can usually tell by running a wooden spoon over the bottom of the pan. Bring the pan to a rolling boil and time for seven minutes. Take pan off the heat and place a few drops of jam onto a chilled saucer. Place saucer in fridge for about a minute
