Layoffs: the shit you want to know

article image placeholderUploaded by @BasTalk
Don't completely recoil back into the darkness of your bedroom and worry and brood and hurt yourself or do something silly. In fact, go out there into sunshine. Where the attitude? Don't think about the future too much at this point in time. Right now, you have to neutralize the effect, and you can only do that by being objective about it. Yes, it is easier said than done that one gets emotionally impacted, one feels betrayed, one feels devastated

Let's open the door for someone who wants to do that. It's not that I'm not going to work and not doing my job. I'm just so much ready to actually do my businesses full time

Thanks, Jill. As always, you make for a very fascinating response. I also probably would like to add that, you know, a lot of people tend to be very cynical and out logic themselves, or rather they counter logic themselves into a difficult situation. Like, okay, so you lost a job and yes, it is difficult. And so what does one recommend that see the sunshine, go out there, feel good? Then these people respond that, are you kidding me?

Being centered in terms of understanding that nothing changes, right, for you at the core, not who you are, not how you would respond given the opportunity, not how you would continue to bring the best to the table. And as you said, this too shall pass, right? This is just a passing event. And if not anything, it's just an experience that would possibly bring the best out of you again, yet again. So it is definitely about resilience. It is about determination
