Hire Ground

article image placeholderUploaded by @BasTalk
Sometimes people hired people they knew over other people from outsiders. Net of the story is, I did not back the road anyhow. My career continued separately in other companies. And on one such occasion, one day, when we were in the middle of a planning session, of a hiring session for the next fiscal, the recruitment team gathered inside the office and said, we have the solution to our hiring problems. I said what happened?

Wow, this was beautifully. This was beautifully done. I was just listening. I felt like I was in a seminar, and I was listening to someone, you know, that ted, where people go out and speak. I felt like I was in the audience, and I was just listening to the words that you speak, and they were very affirming and appreciate that. I think I have experienced being rejected in a sense where I just knew I had the qualifications for a job

And then I would put them with frontline staff so that they could interview frontline staff and frontline staff could interview them because I felt like interviews, which is another tip, by the way, to have key stakeholders interview the candidate because hiring managers are like, okay, let me interview you on how to interview and then I'm going to make the decision. Well, sometimes people outside of you that have to do the work with this person might have other questions for them that might uncover red flags

@BasTalk Love the title

Hi. I really enjoyed this well, great topic and great insights that you shared, but I want to chime into the conversation. Not to add into the conversation, but just appreciate the titles of Your Swell Higher Ground. It's a great pun and a really apt title, and I really enjoyed it. Put a smile to my face. Thank you

Hi, aayan. You know, my spiritual guru says that be thankful that not all your prayers are answered. And I feel that is so true, especially in hindsight, be it opportunities or be it people, right, or be it want, the desires that you would have at that point in time and you would pray for. When I look back, I feel so grateful that those things actually didn't work out. And I felt the same way when I listened to this post

So even with my interactions with book agents, what I've seen is if you treat professionals with the respect and dignity that you expect, they reflected back to you. So I won't name him. I think the most kuru's agent is a very good friend of mine and I have not had any professional relationship with him. However, the option exists primarily because we ground common ground in discussing literature
