I make enemies because of it sometimes. Some of the most passionate responses I've ever gotten from my content have been from disgusting individuals who tell me they can't wait for the race war to start and for rope day to come so they can find me and my family. I guess, you know, at times like that, if nothing else, that your message is getting through to somebody. I don't know if it's the right somebody or not or in the right way

Because I'm not a classically trained cook, I started making candy out of my own mental health. But I've been in restaurants as a server, restaurant manager, et cetera, for many years, for about 20 years. So I have a pretty good palate. But then when I started cooking candy, I was talking to some chefs and I was talking to some cooks, and they were really making me feel bad and just uneducated

And the only problem with that is that the clinical research doesn't show that any of it is all that effective. And unfortunately, we're not very upfront about the reality of that. And that makes sense because people need to work and make money, even if what they're doing isn't exactly procuring long term results
