"cracks in the glass" (Poem)

But I think I can still read it out loud because I was just reading it today, and I enjoy it. So I hope you enjoy it. It's also a little bit shorter. I don't know if I already said that, but I can see my reflection only through cracks. Cracks in the glass poem, fractured face, eyes that have beheld what I would rather not say. And as glistening tears like liquid sapphires roll down my porcelain cheeks, I smile

Another poem! Music: "Eternal Slumber" by Yonder Dale.

This is so beautiful. I love it. I love the metaphor of using the cracks in the glass to represent what, like flaws a person might see in themselves. And it's cool because like in this poem, you're seeing already broken glass so you can interpret however you want what happens before that. And for some reason, I was reminded of Tangled when the glass breaks, and then Flynn has to cut her hair with a glass. But that's kind of extreme

I love this so much. I think it's really important to make art about, like, embracing yourself for all of your flaws. And I think that's something a lot of people need to hear that it's okay to, like, have have those cracks in the glass or whatever, like having those claws and that it makes you more beautiful and more you. So I think that's really gorgeous. And thank you for sharing
