I went on a wonderful journey last night. Swell. I not only traversed the landscape of Kevin Smith's career in life, but I took a walk down my own memory Lane as well. I was fortunate enough to have watched Documentary Clerk by Kevin's friend Malcolm Ingram during the south by Southwest Festival. Now, as I've stated on here before, I'm a Kevin Smith fan, I listen to his podcast. I watched all his films as they came out

And I can't wait to hear more reviews from you, Mr. Joe, about your south by Southwest experiences. Hey, did you go to my presentation? You probably didn't. Oh, man, you're in trouble

I sound like I'm overselling, like I'm trying to really build a story, but I'm not. I did watch it. I watched it down on the television down there the other night. And, yeah, we've watched a couple of other films that I have to put together thoughts on. And then I'll post some reviews and stuff

So I stayed up to an ungodly hour last night because I want to see as many of these films as I can, and I'm really glad that I took the time to see this one. I'm not like the the biggest Kevin Smith fan ever, but I really appreciate him. I first discovered his films when I was a teenager and Mall Rats is how I fell deeply in love with you guessed it

And he still in so many ways feels like that young dude that just made this thing happen. And now here I am. I'm in the middle of it now, and he still kind of feels that way. And I think that's what makes him a very endearing character. As far as the later films, like Tusk and Yoga Hosers and stuff like that. I went and saw Tusk in the theater when it came around, and it was something to behold
