Movie Review - The White Tiger

article image placeholderThe White Tiger | Official Trailer | Netflix
Referencing Slum Dog Millionaire and I thought everything was so well done in this movie, it was just compelling the entire time his journey. It was great to watch. And I highly recommend this film. These are the moments where I'm really happy. I have Netflix, these essentially first run films that are dropped in our lap. And this one was one of the better ones that I've seen come across the screen on Netflix. So now you can go ahead like, oh, he's so disgusted

Kissing up to the Indians here indeed!!! @AverageJoe

Joe, come on, let's be realistic. Here you are trying to kiss up to the Indians here. I mean, yeah, right. White Tiger, whatever you who will be interested in knowing that yours truly here does not have Netflix. Please, just let's not go into that discussion. I mean, I just don't just forget it. Yeah. So I have not seen the movie. But why am I engaging in this world? Because I can because I will

All things good everywhere all the time when you’re buzzed. @AverageJoe

And I'm going to look out for this and watch it if for no other reason, but to understand even more about that culture. We were just talking about the cash system over on At Thinktank, which isn't sort of focused on policy walkers who are people that are making policy in the world. And Car and Dev is running that. And he's based in India, in Mumbai. So that's interesting. Everything is interesting today. It's an interesting day

Without an ‘Ok bye’. It’s SO HARD!! @DBPardes, @AverageJoe

I don't know when, but I was like, okay, tonight I'm going to record my response to all of this. You should read the book and then watch the movie because I'm a bookish person. So that's what I'm going to say. But nobody ever listens to me. Oh, well, life goes on, right? Yeah. So this is the part where I was almost going to say, okay, bye, but I'm not going to do it

And I think it makes for a very interesting watch, especially because it depicts the history of Mumbai back in the 1960s. And it was a very interesting place. So I don't want to ruin it for you any further than this, but I will link you the description. And I'm sorry, link you the movie in the description, and I'm looking. But all your future movie reviews

Check out Caste by Isabel Wilkerson @Karan.Dev @AverageJoe

Did read the book, and I saw the video clips that Joe posted here, and I was just like, okay, not interested. I saw the video and me personally not interested because I'm like, oh, yeah, I already saw this. And I'm going, no, I didn't see this. I read this anyway, I have to be very careful about not signing with going okay, bye. You know that kind of thing. It's still so difficult

@bookishpodcast I’ve been meaning to get myself a copy!

Hey Shahnaz, I've actually chanced upon the book cast. I've been meaning to get myself a copy, but thanks again for recommending it and I'll add it to my list and get to it soon. If I'm not mistaken, I think Netflix is doing a film adaptation of it next year in 2021. Sorry, we're in 2021, so I keep losing track of time. So later this year, I guess

Secondly, I opted not to read White Tiger now because I just watched a movie, but I did go over to Audible and grab Cast because I just saw The Tale of Belgium's, so I don't feel like I want to go right back into it again. But I do think I'll read it somewhere down the road only because I thought the story was pretty interesting and compelling

@Karan.Dev

Oh, and Koran, I'll definitely check out that movie. That sounds like a really interesting premise, so I'm desperately searching for things to watch at the moment, and that sounds pretty good to me. So I'll probably check that out sometime this week

Switch to Libro.fm @AverageJoe @bowie

I will Disclaimer and all that. What do they say? It's Disclaimer anyway? I am an influencer with them, which means they give me six free books every month, not of my choosing, but new books that they pick, which it's been wonderful, but I've been trying to convert a lot of people from Audible to Librasm, and if you want to talk to me more about it, I'm happy to help you. I do have a Libra FM code

@Karan.Dev

So if ever I come across something, I'll definitely keep you in mind. But most likely I'm not your girl for a movie or a TV show. So just FYI. But for a book. Yes, I love to read. So hit me up on that throw books my way. But I am also on too many books. Too little time zone also, because it's really hard to catch up and I really thought I would, but it's just going to be next impossible

I did watch the trailer. It looks really good, so I definitely want to check it out this weekend. I'll just have to find me a copy with subtitles on it, which means probably will be venturing off to the torrent sites and I'll be a pirate this weekend
