I believe we've had a parade pretty consistently since the 1930s, which is working on a century now. We're about 90 years into the annual parade for Nevada Day. Nevada Day does fall on October 31, or Halloween, which was tricky because actually it was great for kids here in Carson City when we did celebrate Nevada Day on Halloween because people did not trick or treat on Nevada Day
