Also, the Frida in the white dress is holding a pair of scissors that seems to be cutting off one of the nerves, but it's unclear which and I'm not sure why this particular painting has always intrigued me, maybe because it sort of suggests a duality to her or just a complexity to her that I probably can't comprehend because I didn't know her
