Hospital volunteer story: Halloween
But for those of you that don't know, I used to volunteer on the emergency floor of my local hospital, and I haven't been back because of COVID. My area is blocked off for volunteers because I don't get paid. And they're, like, irreliability. Anyway, I was thinking about stories and stuff from the hospitals have a lot. So it's the emergency floor. But I was like, Man, I don't want to give out confidential information. That's really bad

And I don't want sweet things. If I don't want it, I'll still eat it. So I just, like, ate all of the candy host in the ball steel. Not all of it, but I sat there for, like, five minutes of just eating and eating anyway. So I went up to the nurse, like, my area, and then they were like, oh, it's Christmas

Okay. For real. Like, the gift shop role. You like, people should be paid for that. You know, like, I would not spend my hours at the gift shop for volunteer hours. Like, I might as well work at a convenience store or something and get get paid for it. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know how that's legal. Like, how is that a volunteer position? No. Oh, my God
Yeah. Right now I volunteer the gift box. And yeah, it's definitely like, I definitely don't know. I don't understand how it's legal to be, like, for it to be an unpaid possession. I get that it's a lot slower than in a normal business. And I get it. It was lower than minimum wage somehow, but at the same time, I don't know. I'm just kind of sketchy
Also, like, I definitely wouldn't if I wanted to pursue, like, Med school or anything similar, like in the field. I would definitely not volunteer in the gift box if they were, like, alternative options to work somewhere or like, volunteer somewhere. Does that kind of work? I don't know, because it's basically a cash job
