Why I am DNFing Midnight’s children ( A booker prize winner )

Hi everyone. Today I'm going to talk about a book called Midnight Children and why I'm not going to finish this book. So basically, Midnight Children is a Booker Prize winner written by Salman Rushdie, who is a very well known author. And the book is about something. I've not read it. So I have read around 150 pages and the main story has not even started. It's not like the writer is bad or the writing is bad

yes, the Booker Prize winners can require a lot of mental attention!

I did not have anything else to distract me. Books like Midnight's Children and other Booker Prize Winners I read. I would read on trains, on plane rides, when I had long periods of time to sustain the reading and put in the attention with no distractions from a smartphone. However, I do think there are some Booker Prize Winner's that the plot moves around much more quickly, the adventure or the plot gets going much more efficiently. I'm thinking of The Life of Pie by Yan Martell

It is a very rewarding book if you really get into it. Again, it's one of the greatest books ever written. I read a few other books and some of them can be very boring. This did not feel boring to me at all, and that's the reality. It was very engrossing in terms of all the plotline storylines and everything that develops. And it was a fun read, actually, and that's the reason I liked it so much

Hey, apurva. So, of course, it's your opinion on it that you are not really into that or the plot of the book started by. But I think it's a really nice book if you stick to the end, that's it. And otherwise yeah, there are lots of many other books in which the writing impeccable. You know, I mean, there are differences in opinion

I think I'm gonna say that I'm not finishing it, but I'm putting the book on pause. Maybe I'll pick it up again once I feel like that I have time where I can focus on it, because the book has multiple POVs, so you really need your attention. And I'm not saying that the sighting is bad or the book is bad. Like, whatever I have read, I have really enjoyed it till now
