Thoughts on "The Right to Die"

If not, I would love to hear why. Also, for me, I actually believe in the right to die. I. I don't know if I would do it, but I do, and I'm a live and let live kind of person, so this falls in line with my personality. If a person is suffering, I cannot decide that their suffering should remain so that they can make me feel happy, so that they can be around

So, you know, I don't know what the right answer would be in a situation like this. I don't know. I guess. I'm guessing that some of the people that make these decisions do it prayerfully. They go to God in prayer, and he understands their suffering, and he knows what they're dealing with. Would he want them to continue to suffer like that? I don't know. Should they just allow nature to take its course and die naturally?

And so I actually thought about this topic then when that prompt was going on, because it's sort of the same thing. Most of us would not have brought anyone back, and I think that most of us would probably not want to keep them here in their suffering, you know? And I just say for myself, if we're faced with that situation, I always wonder, would I want to go quick or would I want to know?

But when it comes to terminally ill people, I believe that we live in a country where we are united, where we all should be on the same page and we all should be supporting each other. And I think that's the bottom line. You know, if

Hi, MJ. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for sharing the screenshot of this poem. It was a good, it was a good read. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on people having the right to die. I think, you know, when people are in a vegetative state, unfortunately, they're beyond the point of making their own decisions. And so it would be the family decisions to pull the plug or to keep them. And that's been a debate

You know, I can remember when my mother passed and we went back into the room after she just. Her heart just left, you know, and went back in. I remember them pumping on her, and I remember how they were trying to resuscitate her and they were doing it because we were young and they were trying to help us. They knew that we were young, you know, we were younger and losing our mom

I don't remember that part of the story, but I do remember reading the article and feeling like, what do you do? It's like he was like he was almost stuck in purgatory. Like, he just wouldn't die, you know, he was whatever age, and just here. So, yeah, not an easy subject at all. But I think you appreciate you for coming on and even sharing about your mother and what that was like for you all
