Hey, swell people, happy Friday morning. So I want to have a nice, swell, light hearted a nice light hearted swell. And I want to know. Most of us have said that we would never date someone who does blank or we would never marry someone who does blank. But I want to know when did you date, marry, or otherwise get into family relationships with someone that you said you would never would, but you did anyway

I said I would never date a man who lived with his mamaā€¦but, I did! šŸ˜‚

She never wanted to be married to a guy that had like a couple of divorces under his belt. But guess what? When she found him, none of that mattered. Okay? He mentioned how he wasn't really into the celibacy thing, honestly. Right? But guess what? He met a woman who lived away from his town during pandemic, when travel was basically not a thing. And they built a wonderful long distance relationship with no sex to the point where he never thought he could do that

All of the ways that a person can be abusive, I experienced them and thank God, only in a short amount of time. So yeah, I said I would never date a light skinned guy because they think they are stuck up and they're on themselves and all of these things. And that was my experience but in a very unsafe way. So that is what I'm going to return back. I'm back to the dark skinned dudes, okay? I just know how to pick them better

I said I would never date short guys šŸ„“

Hey, this is so funny. So I always said that I would not date short guys because I just think tall men are very sexy. And so much to my surprise, I fell for and dated a guy who was shorter than me. I'm five four, so let's so imagine that I'm five four and this guy is shorter than me. He's probably like five two. He's shorter

I'm not going live keeping it real. Right. I was like, there's times when I don't think we're going to make it as a couple or really whatever we're doing, but he's light skinned, and it just feels good to have his attention. I remember saying this, and I was like, what, 40? 41. And so I definitely had to grow out of that and other insecurities. So, anyway, I felt you. I hear you

@MsColes77 Short Guy try harder.

I didn't even see him at the bar. Well, I did see him at the bar, because he was reading a book. And I remember thinking, how strange. You're reading a book at the bar at night. And it was. Oh, man. I think it was the road less traveled or one of those. It was a classic, remember? And, girl, you know, Bob got up and danced. His feet were not even touching the floor from the bar stool

I will never date a man without a JOB! It can be a volunteerism and service - must have Work!

But that was against everything that I said I wasn't going to do, because that part of my life is incredibly important. Financial literacy, financial planning, all the pillars of my life are important, and I try to stack them and put them in order and grow them and work them out, and this part of my life was just never going to be worked out with him because he had his way, he had his stash of money back there

And I've done all those, you know, because a lot of times it's just getting to have a conversation with the person to, you know, see where they're really going and who they really are. Kind of like a love is blind type thing. Because if we automatically go for the superficial things, we can't get past that first layer. My first wife, I don't know what you call the things to where people have, like, this little keloid thing

And we are so glad that you have joined us on the topic here. This is very funny. I love your response here. And it was just absolutely sweet. And nose rings. What is the matter with you? Nose rings? Really? You fell on the nose ring. I can't believe it. In any case, I'm being really silly with you, and I think that's absolutely great
