It tired me out, but was worth it!

And because I met that friend taking books, I got invited to this writing group, so it was awesome. So, yeah, I'll definitely be sharing a few pieces on there. Well, I know it's been a long time since I posted a new piece, but, yeah, I'm ready to share. But, yeah, I definitely enjoyed the conference. It was a great time. It was tiring, but it was a great time. Yeah

The other was writing about the first time doing something you don't tell the audience what is what the first time was or what the event was, but to embody and describe the experience within and try to mimic the intensity of the poem that we read above, which was First Time by Reina Maria Rodriguez. And the other poem we read for the first one was Dinosaurs in the Hood by Dana Smith. And you should read that. I really like that poem

Hey, Nisah. It's so great to hear your voice. You sound so happy and so stimulated and so just excited. I feel you and your work is sounding so raw and beautiful and alive. And that's what happens when you get out of your comfort zone and you push and you learn and you find sort of buddies to hold you to that standard that you want to reach. It's just so inspired. Firing. I really appreciate your sharing here. It's very, very special

And honestly, I think I might just go again. Who knows? Yeah. Thank you for putting this in your hashtag series. Hopefully, it does take off because I think a lot of people underestimate the power of conferences because literally, my mom was, like, urging me to go. Oh, she was almost pressuring me to buy that ticket because those tickets sometimes are expensive. She's like, Nisah, just do it. Get out of the house
