#Rant "angry black woman" it’s the default setting for a lot of white women dealing with black women.

Because you can look at a candidate that's already gone for interview and see their skill set. And it'll help you to know what that manager is looking for and what that manager would like. And so it helps you with your search. So that happened, this happened two weeks ago. And so I said something to my boss like, this is what happened and everything. And my boss was like, okay, I'll deal with it

If you're sending them for an interview, I need you to put the interview date and time and who they're interviewing with in their notes so that I can know what's going on. And if the manager says something to me, I need to know

And I've not really encountered it on this level before, and it does it really makes me want to get another job because if that's how you all look at me, then what are we doing? What are we doing? And how are you all going to respect me? How are you all going to it makes me feel like I'll never be able to ascend into management because this will be hanging over my head, which it shouldn't be, because, again, I told the truth

And so, like I said, from a cultural perspective, they don't really understand how we communicate. With that being said, it sounds like there's been some back channeling where people in general have had an issue with your attitude and the way you communicate. And I also know how that feels. I remember getting a work evaluation some years ago and they told me that on my evaluation they said that I was unapproachable. They said that I had a tendency to be I forgot what it said

So yeah, maybe it's time to make a career shift because it sounds like that's an organizational culture issue. And if they don't see a problem in the way they manage, and if they don't see a problem in the way they are running that ship, then you're only going to become more and more frustrated

I'm not worried about finding another job. I know God will provide for me until I find another one. And I would never quit a job until I had another job secured. But with this situation, this is a new company. I mean, a new client for them

I'm praying and asking God to give me what to say to my manager to be able to talk to her about this situation, because her and I have a really good rapport with one another. I don't believe she's one of those managers that's just concerned about me as far as work goes. I believe she's concerned about me as a person, and she's shown it when I worked with her before. She's shown that time and time again
